The new bar will take over the former The Alchemist site in the city centre
A huge new sports bar is opening in Cardiff city centre this September. St Mary’s street in the Welsh capital will have a new venue as Ludo Sports and Live Lounge will be replacing the former The Alchemist site.
Cardiff will be the home of the biggest Ludo bar and the first in Wales with room for over 700 guests at the sports lounge. As well as live sports screenings, live music and food and drink you will also be able to play interactive darts and basketball at the new venue.
The bar will feature an outdoor garden with Cardiff’s biggest outdoor UHD wall screen, a fully retractable roof and an outdoor bar, hoping to redefine nights out in the city.
A crafted menu will include gourmet burgers, woodfire pizzas, sticky wings and sharing platters. Never miss a Cardiff story by signing up to our daily newsletter here

With bars in Bath and Exeter, Ludo Sports and Live Lounge will be opening its first Welsh branch on Thursday, September 25.
