‘Haunted: Halloween ’86 – Spirit Edition’ Back in Stock; Available Now on Steam and Coming to Switch, Xbox [Trailer]

Back in May, Spirit Halloween teamed up with developer Retrotainment Games to release their own retro NES game Haunted: Halloween ’86 – Spirit Edition for the Nintendo Entertainment System (seriously). That quickly sold out its initial run, but now, it’s back in stock. Not only that, but Retrotainment Games has updated the original Haunted: Halloween ’86 on Steam to include the Spirit Edition, with the update coming soon to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox.

For those that missed it, Haunted: Halloween ’86 – Spirit Edition takes place on a quiet evening in Possum Hollow, where two kids are looking for the perfect Donny and Tami costumes. On a quest to dress up as their heroes, Steven and Kym venture into a Spirit Halloween, but just as they put on the costumes, they’re surprised by Jack the Reaper who plummets them through a vortex back to 1986 to relive the infamous nightmare that Donny and Tami endured years ago. To find their way home, our heroes must battle all sorts of evil and there is nowhere to hide…

Available exclusively at Spirit, the game is compatible with the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and select Retron consoles. Each copy includes a custom game box, orange translucent cartridge and user manual.
