The MoU with IIMA was signed by Aparna, IIMA director Bharat Bhasker and Pankaj Patel, chairman of the governing board. It was decided to expand the growth hub model implemented by Niti Aayog for Surat region to other regions of Gujarat.

Finance Minister Kanu Desai, Health Minister Rushikesh Patel, Industry Minister Balwantsinh Rajput, Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel and Education Minister Kuber Dindor were part of the meeting.

Chief principal advisor to CM Hasmukh Adhia was also present at the meeting apart from other officials.
