SOME Walmart shoppers have been left fuming over alleged discrepancies with a popular perfume it sells online.
The item caught backlash from several who bought it recently, claiming the beauty item didn’t have the promised effects.

Specifically, the negative reviews came for the Christian Dior Sauvage Eau De Toilette Spray Cologne for Men.
It sells for $54 on Walmart’s website and is a relatively popular offering in the perfume and cologne industry.
Except, beauty retailers and department stores like Sephora and Macy’s typically sell the same-sized bottle of Sauvage Dior for much more.
Sephora’s listing, for example, is $130 online.
Macy’s is currently running a sale where the cologne is $110.50.
Those are price differences of around $76 and $56, respectively.
While around 1,246 Walmart customers praised the deal for Sauvage Dior in five-star reviews, some claimed they received a “knock off.”
“Fake, no long-lasting smell, different from original ones,” a shopper fumed.
“Smells great for about 10 minutes…I guess this is the watered down version of it…which explains why it was half [off]… or should I say…ripped off,” another commented.
“Definitely a knock off,” a third claimed.
“I do this little thing where I spray my fragrances on a cotton cloth and check it periodically for 24 hours. This fragrance didn’t even last an hour.”
Several others claimed the Sauvage Dior offer on Walmart’s website was “not real” or “not the same” and promised to “boycott” the chain for good.
The U.S. Sun has contacted Walmart for comment.

While it’s possible that a third-party seller could’ve sold an item that was damaged or tampered with, Walmart has a strict vetting process when allowing sellers on the site.
It helps ensure only “qualified businesses with reliable operations” are there.
Walmart also awards “Pro Seller” badges to those who have particularly excellent customer service.
SUMMER’S NEAR
Another item at Walmart has alternatively been flying off the shelves to satisfied shoppers this month at a price less than discount retailers like Dollar Tree.
The summer beach essential, a Play Day Pail and Shovel Set, is only 94 cents.
Walmart described the set as an “essential toy for getting creative at the beach,” and it’s been awarded an overall 4.4 out of 5-star rating.
Reviewers praised it as an “excellent product” and a “great deal.”
In comparison, the Outdoor Fun Splash-N-Swim Glittery Plastic Beach Pails with Shovels at Dollar Tree is $1.25.
It still offers the opportunity for hours of family fun in the sun.
Walmart is also selling a $2.49 candy that’s selling out fast in April.
The retail giant also followed Sephora with a new “beauty bar” that shoppers can nab samples of.
