Emmerdale is set to air dramatic scenes this week with one character’s life left hanging in balance due to a medical emergency while another is left with no income due to an unforgivable betrayal.

From an unforgivable shoplifting betrayal to a sudden life or death medical emergency, here is what to expect in the next five episodes of Emmerdale.
Sarah is arrested but is Kammy to blame?
Sarah distracts Cain to snatch his car keys, enabling Kammy (on her orders) to nick his motor from the garage for a joyride. Jacob, oblivious to Sarah’s involvement and having seen Kammy zoom off in Cain’s car, rings the police.
Later on, PC Swirling pulls Sarah over on a country lane while she’s behind the wheel of Cain’s car. She starts off cocky with him, but is quickly put in her place when Swirling insists on checking the boot.
Gabby and Vinny on the move
Kim gets sidetracked by a business call and inadvertently leaves her firearm within reach of Thomas. Once Kim exits the room, Thomas eyes up the gun.
Gabby returns shortly after to find Thomas messing about with the gun box. She’s livid at Kim and accuses her of undermining her parenting skills.
Kim is taken aback when Gabby, Thomas and Vinny decide to move into the Dingles. However, life at the Dingles isn’t smooth sailing for Gabby as she soon senses the tension between herself and Sam.
Sam pretends to Kim that Gabby is considering moving to Leeds, which motivates Kim. Despite herself, Gabby is delighted when Kim offers her to stay at Dale View to keep her and Thomas in the village.
Eager to start their new life at Dale View, Gabby and Vinny begin the moving process. Having seen through Sam’s scheming, Kim admires his tenacity.
Pollard sacks Tracy
Tracy, feeling ashamed, takes some money from the till as a desperate measure to get by. The following day, she becomes anxious upon hearing that Eric plans to scrutinise the accounts in preparation for selling the business.
Later, Tracy is consumed with guilt when Pollard blames himself for the missing cash while continuing to commend her for her support. Overwhelmed by guilt, Tracy confesses her theft to Vanessa the next day.
Tracy is moved when Vanessa apologises for not realising her financial struggles and hands her an envelope of cash to replace the missing funds. Tracy returns the money but manipulates Pollard into believing he misplaced it.
Her guilt intensifies when Pollard insists on treating her to lunch as a thank you for her support. During their meal, a drunken and irate Vanessa confronts Tracy and reveals her theft to Eric.
Stunned by the betrayal, Pollard immediately dismisses Tracy as the silent pub watches the drama unfold.
A costly mistake at work for John
Liam is left frustrated when John, distracted, misdiagnoses Kerry. The following day, Liam announces that he will be reviewing all of John’s work.
John confides in Vic about his medical errors. In an attempt to lift his spirits, Vic shares her own professional mishaps and urges him to forgive himself.
However, the next day, Jacob mistakenly drinks the wrong coffee and goes into anaphylactic shock, panicking as he realises his AAI pen is missing. John rushes to the unconscious Jacob, checking for a pulse while Vic looks on in panic.

Aside from the main storylines, other scenes include Jacob being left mortified after catching Sarah in the middle of an intimate afternoon with Kammy and a drunk and grieving Vanessa lashing out at Rhona over her mum’s actions.
Meanwhile, Kim plans a romantic getaway for Dawn and Billy, in the hopes it will mend their relationship.
