
Big Four firm EY has appointed Kate Jarman as the new Managing Partner of its Leeds office.
Originally from Liverpool, Kate Jarman career at EY started with an internship before she went on to join the professional services firm as a graduate in Leeds. She was promoted to partner in October 2020 and has led the Audit business in Leeds for the last four years.
In her new role, Jarman will lead a team of around 500 people working across the firm’s main lines of business, including audit, assurance, transactions, consulting, tax and technology.
“I am incredibly proud to be taking on this role. We have a fantastic team here in Leeds and moved into new offices last year as part of our continued investment in our regional business. Leeds has a vibrant business community and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can continue to achieve together,” said Jarman.
She takes over the role from Tim West, who has been the Office Managing Partner since July 2022. He will return to a more client-facing role – West is a senior leader in the Tax business.
