Walkers enjoyed sunny Perthshire on their recent trip.
East Kilbride Hiking Club enjoyed sunny Perthshire on their recent hike and were blessed with a dry and warm, if pretty windy day.
The group of 40 headed off to Amulree, a few miles north of Crieff on the A822 to start two walks, with both high and low walkers starting off together initially on the Rob Roy Way heading west.
As the two groups passed through Glen Lochan the high walkers took a steep route up to Beinn na Gainimh (730m) and Sron Bealaidh before dropping back down to the south east to rejoin the Rob Roy Way and complete their 15.5km hike.
Meanwhile the low walkers carried on through spectacular scenery as they turned eastwards into Glen Almond and walked alongside the river all the way back to Newton having hiked 17.5km.
A one-hour social stop in Aberfeldy gave hikers plenty of time to relax somewhere, most choosing the Glendevon hotel.
Have a look at the club website at to see where they are heading next.
