A ‘fade free’ battery helps to keep it powered for more than long enough to clean all your furniture, finer nooks and crannies, and even the car
Dyson vacuum cleaners are known for being some of the most premium on the market, but they also come with a pretty premium price tag attached to them. You can pick up an older model for a bargain though, if you know where to look.
We’ve spotted one such bargain over at Wowcher where you can currently grab the Refurbished Dyson V6 Trigger Handheld Vacuum Cleaner for £119 instead of the usual £179.99. It’s a refurbished model, meaning it might have some signs of cosmetic wear, but it otherwise works exactly as it should.
It comes equipped with two radial cyclone motors for sucking up an incredible amount of debris into its spacious dust container. A ‘fade free’ battery helps to keep it powered for more than long enough to clean all your furniture, finer nooks and crannies, and even the car.

This handheld vacuum has a battery life of 20 minutes and is ideal for cleaning furniture and cars.
You’ll find all the attachments you need to do a deep clean in the box, including a crevice tool and a brush for cleaning the toughest of messes. As you’d expect from a Dyson, it’s been designed with ergonomics in mind so reduce the amount of fatigue you might feel after holding a heavy object for a long while.
There are a few alternatives out there if you’d rather have a brand new device instead of a refurbished one. Shark’s closest alternative is this model, which is currently on sale for £99.99.
Lakeland also has its own handheld vacuum, aptly dubbed the Lakeland Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner. It’s currently on sale for £69.l99, down from £79.99.
There’s one review of the Dyson handheld vacuum cleaner on Wowcher right now. It awards the vacuum five stars and reads: “I wish I had never gone away from Dyson vacuum, this handheld is better than my main Shark.”
Looking at reviews of the same product on Amazon, another shopper describes it as ‘neat and powerful’. Meanwhile, a third writes a more detailed review, saying: “Really happy with this product. Great suction. Great for use in cars getting under seats. Battery life is good for what you are using it for a quick tidy up or in the car. Had since Christmas and used frequently, had no issues.”
However, another shopper explained that they weren’t quite satisfied with the battery life. “The suction power is very good but the battery only lasts about ten minutes per charge,” they wrote.
Another more scathing review found that the vacuum wasn’t as great at cleaning as it’s cracked up to be. “Very short battery charge life. Clogs up constantly with the most light and moderate use,” they say.
