Dorémart (formerly known as Dorémon Supermarket) is a retail chain of Malaysia supermarket, owned by Doremart Sdn. Bhd., Sarawak.
Founded since 2015 by the enterprising couple, Hii Kah Hock and Wong Su Ping, the supermarket design element and inspiration are based on the Japanese anime and manga series, Fujiko Fujio’s Doraemon. The first supermarket outlet was operated in Sri Aman. Prior 2021, the outlets were named as Dorémon Supermarket, and it was changed to Dorémart after making Facebook announcement and poll for entire supermarket upgrade.[1][2]
In 2020, a few of Doraemon’s main characters statues (Doraemon, Nobita Nobi, Shizuka Minamoto, Takeshi “Gian” Goda and Suneo Honekawa) were erected near Dorémart Sarikei, becoming a small attraction among the community.[3]
By 2025, Dorémart outlets have been operated across Sarawak, including Kuching, Kota Sentosa, Kota Samarahan, Betong, Sibu and Bintulu.
