Deficits at NHS trusts in England hit £1.2bn as London hospitals overspend by £51m, new analysis shows

The overspend for London NHS Trusts is likely to be far higher than the £51m reported for 2023-24, as major Trusts in Croydon, Barking, Havering and Redbridge, and the East London NHS Foundation Trust had yet to report their accounts when the analysis was conducted.
