A registered massage therapist in Milton has been charged with sexual assault.

Halton Regional Police Service say the accused was working at Massage Addict located at 1130 Steeles Avenue in Milton at the time of the alleged offence and they were contacted by an adult female during a recent massage at that location.

Ayman Alkassem, 52, of Mississauga, has been charged with one count of sexual assault but has been employed at other massage studios, including additional locations in Mississauga.
Police believe there may be additional victims and have released a photo of the accused.

PARENTS CHARGE FOR THREATENING YOUTH
York Regional Police have charged an adult with threatening a youth at a soccer game in Vaughan.
Cops say on June 20, 2025, around 10 p.m., a youth soccer game was underway at a field in the area of Dufferin St. and Highway 407 when it’s alleged the suspect, a parent of a player, uttered a threat against a youth on the opposing team, causing the game to end.
On Friday, Gianni Luciani, 53, of Vaughan, was charged with one count of utter threats.
York Regional Police takes public safety seriously and is reminding the community that we will not tolerate any form of threats, intimidation, or violence at public events, including youth sports.

MAN BEATEN
Toronto Police are seeking the public’s assistance after a man was allegedly beaten by a group of suspects on June 22 around 11:25 p.m. in the Woodbine Beach Park area.
It’s reported that officers found the male victim with serious injuries after being assaulted by several unknown suspects and was taken to hospital by paramedics.
Suspect number one has been described as a Black male, standing 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7, aged 30 to 35 years old, with a muscular build, cornrows, a full beard, and wearing a plain white top and possibly blue jeans.
Suspect number two has been described as a Black male, standing six-foot-tall, with a large build.

Suspect number three has been described as a Black male, standing 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, with messy braids, and wearing black sunglasses, a black hat, and all black clothing and possibly using an e-scooter.
The alleged assault occurred near the public washrooms of the park and police are seeking the public’s help as it’s believed bystanders may have witnessed the incident or recorded the incident and shared it on social media.
It’s also believed the suspects had a dog with them, which may have been injured during the incident.

LANDFILL SEARCH FOR MISSING WOMAN ENDS
Hamilton Police say they have concluded their landfill search regarding Shalini Singh, whose family reported her missing on Dec. 10, 2024, after not hearing from her for several days.

Since Feb. 24, 2025, the cops have been systematically searching the Glanbrook Landfill Site for the remains of Singh and other evidence of her disappearance.

On May 21, 2025, partial human remains were located within this search area and subsequent DNA analysis determined that these remains were those of Singh.
Jeffery Smith, Shalini’s common-law boyfriend, was arrested and charged on June 20, 2025, with second-degree murder and indignity to human remains.
On Friday, the Hamilton Police Service completed the search of the identified area and the search efforts at the landfill have now been concluded.
No further human remains have been located by police.
