Celebrity Big Brother fans said they ‘knew it’ after Jack P Shepherd was spotted appearing twice in the famous house.
The Coronation Street star could be on his way to the final after escaping being up for eviction following brutal face-to-face nominations in Monday night’s (April 21) episode ahead of a shock triple exit on Tuesday (April 22).
It comes after Jack didn’t have much luck at the start of his time in the ITV reality show as his fellow housemates unanimously chose him to be up for the first eviction, against former Tory MP Michael Fabricant and Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke.
The actor, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, did end up surviving the first eviction but ended up being put up again. However, after being saved by the public once more, the soap star’s votes have dwindled as the drama ramps up elsewhere in the house.
In recent episodes of Celebrity Big Brother, Jack has been seen getting stuck into the various tasks – from being dressed up as a cat alongside his fellow housemates before becoming the house ‘dad’ in a family-related task.
And it was Jack’s partner Hanni Treweek, who is helping run his Instagram page while he’s taking part in the ITV reality show, that took to the social media platform to reveal her future husband had an extra appearance in the show during the family task.
In a screengrab from the episode, a framed baby photo could be seen and the post on Jack’s Instagram page asked: “Did anyone spot baby Jack last night? [face holding back tears emoji] @bbuk @itv.”
And fans were quick to respond. @misstranter_ said: “I knew it.” @jliddell58 commented: “Bloody hell, he has never changed.” @nancyhovhanesian posted: “Absolutely spotted.”
@ilovecelebritybigbrotherx replied: “I did it was so adorable.” @roxeymaemb wrote: “AHH how sweet.” @mariefindlow77 added: “How cute.”
Meanwhile, Jack’s Corrie co-stars said he ‘let himself down’ during a recent celebratory moment in the Celebrity Big Brother house as the housemates enjoyed a karaoke session.
During a recent episode of the On The Sofa podcast, which Jack co-hosts alongside Colson Smith and Ben Price, who are known for playing Weatherfield’s Craig Tinker and Nick Tilsley, the duo spoke about the choice of Jack’s karaoke song.
They told how Jack’s perfect tune for when on the mic is the Meat Loaf classic Bat Out Of Hell, and Ben thinks if he’d have sung it, he’d have sealed his victory. He said: “I think they would’ve just gone, ‘We’ve stopped the votes. Jack; you’ve won. The rest of you just f**k off’.”
As Colson instructed listeners to go find Jack’s “brillaint” rendition of the famous song online, Ben added: “It’s brilliant, and that’s the one he should’ve done. He’s let us down. He’s let himself down.”
