Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Tuesday conducted a spot inspection of the progress made in the Sabarmati Ashram Redevelopment Project in Ahmedabad.
The project is jointly implemented by the Central government and the Gujarat government at an estimated cost of Rs 1,200 crore in an area measuring 55 acres.
The CM was on Tuesday accompanied by Chief Secretary Pankaj Joshi. They were provided details of the ongoing works under the project by the Executive Council Chairman of the Mahatma Gandhi Sabarmati Ashram Memorial Trust, I P Gautam, and Officer on Special Duty I K Patel.
As per an official release, CM Patel reviewed various works and offered suggestions.
