ChangAn Automobile’s Dubhe Plan 2.0 represents an evolution of its strategic initiatives to enhance intelligent and sustainable mobility, particularly in the European market. Building on the achievements of Dubhe Plan 1.0, this new phase focuses on the integration of advanced intelligent driving technologies and digital connectivity across the company’s product portfolio. ChangAn Automobile has committed to discontinuing the development of non-intelligent vehicles, opting instead to invest in vehicles equipped with sophisticated driver assistance systems and smart network capabilities. The initiative emphasizes the coordinated development of digital products, operations, manufacturing, and ecosystems as part of its comprehensive approach to transform both its technological offerings and production processes.
Under Dubhe Plan 2.0, the company has outlined a roadmap that includes the introduction of up to 35 new digital intelligent vehicle models over the next three years. The plan sets specific targets for achieving full-scenario Level-3 autonomous driving capabilities by 2026, with further advancements planned toward Level-4 autonomy by 2028. In addition to these advancements in intelligent driving, ChangAn Automobile is also prioritizing investments in AI-driven diagnostic and safety technologies, as well as next-generation battery systems designed to improve energy density and extend driving range. These measures aim to address the growing demand for low-carbon, smart mobility solutions and reflect the company’s commitment to sustainable innovation in the automotive sector.
