Dow and Fiori Group have initiated a collaboration aimed at advancing sustainable mobility by developing circular solutions for end-of-life vehicle materials. The partnership is structured around a memorandum of understanding that outlines a joint “test and learn” approach. Under this framework, Dow will contribute its expertise in advanced recycling technologies—most notably through its Dow Renuva® portfolio—while Fiori Group leverages its capabilities in collecting, storing, and processing both ferrous and non-ferrous materials from end-of-life vehicles. This collaboration is designed to analyze the impact of vehicle dismantling processes on material quality and to develop robust recycling protocols across the vehicle life cycle.
The partnership also defines a roadmap to integrate these circular practices along the European value chain for automotive recycling. In this context, Fiori Group’s recognized leadership in material recovery complements Dow’s technical innovations in chemical and mechanical recycling methods. The two companies plan to share experimental data and update industry stakeholders on the progress of developing a prototype ecosystem for end-of-life vehicle recycling. This initiative reflects a strategic commitment by both firms to support the automotive sector’s transition toward more sustainable and circular operations.
