Claire sent a sweet message to the former Coronation Street actors
Claire Sweeney has sent a sweet message to former Coronation Street stars Catherine Tyldesley and Shayne Ward as they celebrated a career milestone. Catherine appeared on Coronation Street between June 2011 and August 2018 in the regular role of Eva Price, while Shayne Ward played Aidan Connor from August 2015 to May 2018.
Since leaving the soap, both have starred in various TV shows. However, they reunited in 2023 for a crime drama series called The Good Ship.
Set on a luxury Mediterranean cruise ship, the programme follows a retired detective-turned-cabaret singer solving murders on board. The series began broadcast on Channel 5 in October 2023 and has been renewed for two more series and a Christmas special in 2024.

Later that day, Claire revealed that she had returned to Weatherfield for an official cast photo. She posted a video with Sue Devaney, who plays Debbie Webster, and the pair expressed their excitement to be back on set.
Claire made her first appearance on the Cobbles in June 2023. She was introduced as Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Plummer, the estranged mother of Tyrone Dobbs.
