Chase Chrisley has broken his silence his parents’ arrest, insisting that their family was ‘targeted’ and that the system is ‘corrupt and broken’ in an explosive interview with DailyMail.com.
The Chrisley family was skyrocketed into the spotlight after they landed their own USA reality show called Chrisley Knows Best in 2014, which followed the day-to-day lives of real estate tycoon Todd Chrisley, 55, his wife Julie Chrisley, 52, as well as their five kids.
Through the series, which went on for 10 seasons, the couple became known as devoted parents and devout Christians – but they saw their picture-perfect on-screen images ripped apart when they were accused of scamming the bank by submitting fake documents when applying for loans.
After a sensational trial, Todd and Julie were ultimately found guilty of 12 counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion in 2022, and were sentenced to 12 and seven years behind bars respectively.
Now, their son Chase, 28, has spoken out about their shock arrests exclusively with DailyMail.com during a rare sit-down, and opened up about how the devastating ordeal has affected him and his siblings.
He insisted that his parents were ‘targeted’ and that his dad’s business partner Mark Braddock was the one who committed the crimes.
‘I thought it was bulls**t. I thought we were targeted. I thought it was absolute bulls**t,’ he said of the charges.
‘Obviously our system is very corrupt and very broken. I know there wasn’t any truth to it, because my dad didn’t have to steal any money. But his slimy business partner apparently did.

‘Anyone who sits down and reads over the transcripts [from the trial]… I’ve read through them several times, it’s just baffling that this happened.
‘If you go back and read them, it’s not a very compelling [case]. His business partner is a scum bag. That guy deserves to be in jail. He was stealing from us.’
Both Todd and Julie have maintained their innocence and have since launched numerous appeal against their verdicts.
During the trial, Mark – who worked with Todd at a real estate company from 2005 to 2012 – took the stand and claimed that he had not only been a witness to the Chrisley’s crimes, but that he had even helped commit them.
Mark, was granted immunity in return for testifying, also alleged that he had a gay love affair with Todd, which the TV star has denied.
Chase insisted that their family will continue to ‘fight’ until they get justice for his parents.
‘The government dismantled our entire lives. But my dad didn’t raise us to be weak, they picked the wrong family if they think that we’re not going to fight until we win,’ he stated. ‘Losing is not an option in an aspect of life.’
He revealed that their family is ‘as close as they’ve ever been,’ adding, ‘This hasn’t affected my relationship with my mom and dad at all because I know the truth.’

The former reality star admitted that prison life has been ‘hard’ for his parents, who are in two different facilities, leaving them unable to communicate with one another.
‘It’s been hard for them. I mean, you go from the lifestyle that they were living to being in prison… It’s very unfortunate and the circumstances suck,’ shared Chase.
‘As far as the conditions go, they’re terrible. There’s black mold… and it’s just scary. It’s scary for us, and I’m sure it’s scary for them.’
He also shut down rumors that their marriage has been affected by the ordeal, telling DailyMail.com, ‘My mom and dad are absolutely obsessed with each other to this day. So anything about their marriage being rocky, that couldn’t be further from the truth.’
His sister Savannah Chrisley is in the midst of seeking a pardon for her parents from President Donald Trump.
‘I hope that Trump looks at what’s in front of him and sees the actual facts and makes the right decision,’ Chase said.
‘We would be honored to have a presidential pardon by President Trump. He’s got my support.’

The 28-year-old added that his parents are unbothered the public’s perception of them, and would even consider returning to the world of reality TV if they did get pardoned.
‘My dad does not give two s**ts what the media says. Not at all. And my mama just misses her babies,’ he explained.
‘I don’t know [if they’d return to reality TV], that’s gonna be a deeper conversation for down the road.
‘If and when they get pardoned we will have that conversation. I’ve gotten three different answers from my dad so I don’t know… but everybody’s got a number.’
Chase also revealed that he and his siblings are in the midst of ‘finalizing a deal for a new show,’ explaining that it will document what his family has endured since the fallout.
‘I can’t say too much, but it’s gonna be very, very different than Chrisley Knows Best,’ he shared.
‘It’s gonna be more real. It’s gonna show what it’s been like to go through what we’ve had to go through and what we’re continuing to go through.’

‘Nobody knows jack s**t about my family. Everybody’s just out here spewing their opinions and opinions are like a**holes, everybody’s got one,’ he said. His parents are seen

No matter what happens, Chase vowed that it won’t be the end of the Chrisley family in the reality world. He concluded: ‘We’re not done, we’re coming back with vengeance for sure’
In addition, he said that he hopes that it will put an end to some of the rumors about their family.
‘Nobody knows jack s**t about my family. Everybody’s just out here spewing their opinions and opinions are like a**holes, everybody’s got one,’ he continued.
‘So many people just run their mouths and talk s**t online, but they’ll only do it behind a keyboard. When they see you in public they want to take a picture.’
In addition to gearing up to star in a new show, he also recently released a new candle scent dedicated to his parents through his brand Chase Chrisley Collection, entitled Freedom.
‘I feel like [freedom] is something I didn’t really appreciate before all of this. It’s for my mom and my dad,’ he shared.
‘And we’re gonna be donating a piece of our profits to families who can’t afford to go visit their loved ones who are incarcerated.’
No matter what happens, Chase vowed that it won’t be the end of the Chrisley family in the reality world.
‘We’re not done, we’re coming back and we’re coming back with vengeance for sure,’ he concluded.
‘[This has all] changed my perspective in life completely. Things that I thought were important, I don’t even care about anymore.
‘The only thing that I care about now is having my family close, having them healthy, and that’s it.’
