Celebrity Gogglebox fans were “so happy” after two beloved stars made their show comeback on Friday (July 11).
Channel 4 viewers had been left stunned the previous week when Shaun Ryder and Bez, two of the programme’s most beloved participants, were missing from the roster of celebrities.
Since joining Celebrity Gogglebox in 2019, the ex-Happy Mondays bandmates have become fan favourites for their witty takes on top TV shows.
The absence of Shaun and Bez from last week’s episode sparked concern among fans that they might have been dropped from the series.
However, the return of the pair for the season’s final episode tonight was met with relief, reports the Mirror.

Upon seeing Shaun and Bez back in their usual spot, numerous viewers flocked to X (formerly Twitter) to express their delight.
One viewer commented: “Glad we’ve got Shaun and Bez back this week,” while another celebrated: “Hooray! Shaun and Bez are back! #CelebrityGogglebox is saved!”
A third remarked: “I love Shaun and Bez on #Gogglebox. Always hilarious.”
Echoing these sentiments, another added: “So happy Shaun and Bez are back on screen, wasn’t the same without them last week.”
The episode also featured appearances from Rylan Clark with his mum Linda, Diversity’s Perri Kiely and Jordan Banjo, as well as This Morning’s Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.
Making their first appearance on the show, Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham and acclaimed musician Tim Minchin were warmly received by the audience, who praised their dynamic.
