Boots shoppers are snapping up a designer perfume that’s had an impressive £50 slashed off the price. Versace The Dreamer would normally cost £74, but has dropped down to the better than half price £24 for a limited time.
Versace The Dreamer opens up with vibrant juniper, tarragon and artemisia before settling into a floral heart of iris, lily and flax. It’s got a warm base of tobacco blossom and amber.
It has drawn comparisons to Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Male (£45 for 40ml) which it does share artemisia and amber notes with in the same placement. Similarly it shares notes with Halfeti by Penhaligon’s (£215 for 100ml).
It’s pulled in an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 from across over 150 reviews, with 120 of them being a perfect five-stars. One shopper said: “For the price this is a great fragrance. Wore it on a trip to Paris and got loads of compliments. Smells more expensive than it is.”
A second penned: “This fragrance is great for wearing during the day, work, shopping etc not too overpowering (unless you go mad with it) it normally lasts for a good five hours then it becomes a skin scent all you do is apply a few more sprays and you are good to go.”
