The man’s body was discovered after a major search operation was launched off the Pembrokeshire coast
A body has been found near a Welsh beach following a major search operation. Dyfed-Powys Police told BBC Wales that officers were called to the Manorbier area in Pembrokeshire at around 11am on Friday after concerns were raised for the welfare of a person.
A spokesman for the force said: “Sadly, a body of a man was found during the search.” The force shared that enquiries are being made to establish what happened.
The search saw the Tenby all-weather and inshore lifeboats and a Coastguard helicopter deployed.
