On Thursday night, BBC viewers tuned in to watch the second instalment of Rob Brydon’s new reality game show, Destination X
Destination X viewers were left speechless during the most recent episode of the BBC show, which began this week.
The first episode kicked off on Wednesday, with many people initially being unimpressed minutes into the show. However, it looks as though there’s been a turn of events.
On Thursday’s show, the contestants continued their journey to their next mystery location after the first person was eliminated from the show.
Sadly, Deborah was the first person to get booted off after placing her guess at the furthest point from their actual location, which viewers learnt was Paris.
However, as the contestants still remained in the dark about where they were, their venture across Europe continued somewhere completely new.

During the show, the teams were divided into two as they were given the chance to earn a clue for their team. Although it wasn’t that straight forward as each team was in a gondola 2000 metres above sea level.
While suspended in the mountains, the host explained that one person from the team had to find a clue at the bottom of the cart, meaning they had to abseil down.
It wasn’t long before people took to Twitter to comment on the shocking moment as they watched two contestants dangling from their carriage.
One person said: “This is INSANE he’s hanging 2,000ft above air like it’s nothing #DestinationX” Another asked: “Is this for real? #DestinationX”
Someone else wrote: “All I can think about is insurance and risk assessments.” While one viewer shared: “I’d be in the corner rocking back and forth this is a nightmare to me.”
Another person commented: “As well as a camera crew, there must be safety people checking the harnesses.”
Reflecting on being suspended from the air, pilot Josh said: “There was a massive drop down , that was pretty nerve-racking!”
In the end, both teams were successful in getting the clue underneath the cart, although it was Team A who won the overall challenge after working out their clues.
Deciding to play the game, the winning team decided not to share the whole truth on the clue they received, to try and give themselves a better chance in the competition.
Despite being given the extra advantage, it was Dawn who became the latest person to leave the show.
Destination X is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
