The Overall Championship Trophy was bagged by Assam Rifles and the Overall Runners- Up Trophy was secured by Border Security Force at All India Police Shooting(AIPDM) Competition.
Tamil Nadu Police hosted the All India Police Shooting (AIPDM) Competition for the third time. This was conducted at Tamil Nadu Commando School Training Centre, Othivakkam, Chengalpattu District from March 17.
Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin presented medals and trophies to the winners in the presence of Director General of Police and Head of Police Force, Tamilnadu Shankar Jiwal.
The Rifle Shooting Championship Trophy was bagged by Assam Rifles team, Runners Up Trophy was secured by BSF and the Third Position was secured by the State of Assam. The Pistol/Revolver Shooting Championship Trophy was bagged by CRPF, Runners Up Trophy was secured by Assam Rifles and the Third Position was secured by Tamil Nadu Police. The Carbine / Sten gun Shooting Championship Trophy was bagged by ITBP, Runners- Up Trophy was secured by the State of Odisha and the third position was secured by Assam Rifles.
The Championship Trophy – Overall Best Amongst States was secured by the Tamil Nadu Police and Runners Up Trophy – Overall 2nd Best Amongst States was secured by the State of Odisha.
