Actor Arjun Kapoor is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi. At a recent event, as the film stars Arjun, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh were interacting with fans. In the middle of the event, someone from the crowd screamed ‘Malaika’ as Arjun took the stage. This left the actor speechless. Actor Malaika Arora happens to be Arjun’s ex-girlfriend and the duo dated for a long time but parted their ways last year.
In the video that made its way to the social media, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh were seen answering questions from fans but as soon as Arjun came in the frame, someone screamed ‘Malaika’ loudly.
Arjun’s bemused reaction was caught on the camera as he probably didn’t expect this. While Arjun did not say anything, Rakul and Bhumi also looked at him for a moment.

A few days back, at one of the promotional events, Arjun Kapoor was asked about his marriage plans in real life. The actor answered gracefully that he has always been vocal about his personal life and he will share about it when it is happens.
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora were in a relationship since 2018 but parted ways last year. Arjun publicly admitted that he was single during a promotional event of Rohit Shetty’s film Singham Again. The duo still share good relations as Arjun was seen by Malaika’s side after the death of her father Anil Mehta in September, 2024.
Arjun Kapoor also spoke about showing up for his ex-partner Malaika Arora when she lost her adopted father recently and said that he wanted to honour the emotional bond, and reflected on his past relationships. The actor said that he would like to think of himself as a good boyfriend, but admitted that his personal traumas have influenced how he approaches romantic relationships.
Arjun Kapoor’s upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, directed by Mudassar Aziz, also stars Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, and Shakti Kapoor in supporting roles. The film is set to release in cinemas on February 21, 2025.
