Pebble Business Transformation has become part of operations transformation consultancy Argon & Co. Following the integration, which has seen Pebble take on Argon & Co’s branding, the combined firm will immediately invest in more than 35 senior staff in Ireland.
Argon & Co is a global management consultancy that specialises in operations strategy and transformation. Its expertise spans supply chain planning, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, finance, and shared services, working for clients from 17 offices across Europe, Australasia, America, Asia and the Middle East.
Founded in 2017, Pebble Business Transformation is a 30-person consultancy in Dublin specialised in business design and operations transformation. The consulting firm works for the likes of Colgate-Palmolive, Diageo, Hitachi, Kerry Group, Mylan and Coca-Cola. In April 2024, Pebble became Argon & Co’s Irish practice.
The move complemented Argon & Co’s organic growth, taking its team to more than 550 staff, double the size when the firm launched its growth strategy in 2020. But as the integration of Pebble concludes – with the firm now operating from its Dublin headquarters as Argon & Co – the firm is doubling down on adding to its headcount, in a move which will create new opportunities for local talent. Argon & Co will immediately invest in 35 senior staff members across its key business capability areas, with further expansion planned as it scales its operations across Ireland.
Conor Duggan, now partner at Argon & Co, and former co-founder of Pebble, commented, “We’re thrilled to officially join forces with Argon & Co. This expansion will truly strengthen our offering –deepening Argon & Co’s presence in Ireland’s dynamic business community, attracting top talent in this market. Our expansion comes at an appropriate time, allowing us to support businesses navigate changing political environments, whilst also seizing the opportunities of advanced technologies through our leading business design.”
The former Pebble team will continue its work with leading Irish and European companies across the food and drink, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, dairy, and construction sectors. The Pebble leadership team of Conor Duggan, Joe Hughes, and Regina Stapleton will remain in place, joining Argon & Co as Partners to lead the team and client relationships.
Regina Stapleton, partner at Argon & Co and also formerly of Pebble, added, “To navigate these challenges effectively and promote growth, firms require specialist support. With this expansion, we are in an even stronger position to support our clients through their transformations.”
