Apple TV+ is giving away three months’ access for the price of one in a rare deal, but only hours remain to claim the discount
Time is running out for TV fans to secure a discounted Apple TV+ subscription before the streamer’s ‘limited time’ deal comes to an end. The tech giant is currently offering a membership for £2.99 per month for three months, essentially giving away three months’ access for the price of one.
A 48-hour countdown has now started to get the deal before it ends on Thursday, April 24. With it, subscribers can stream hit shows like Severance, The Studio, Slow Horses, Ted Lasso and many more while saving 66% compared to the usual £8.99 rate.
This makes Apple TV+ the most affordable choice among the major streaming services, compared to the cheapest subscription tiers of Disney+ (£4.99), Netflix (£5.99) and Prime Video (£5.99). After the three-month promotional period, the subscription will automatically renew at the standard £8.99, but you’re free to cancel at this point.
The offer is also available to Apple TV+ customers on a Sky TV plan, including the £15 Essential TV bundle. Members of this plan also gain access to more than 100 channels including Sky Atlantic – the UK home of The Last of Us – and complimentary subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+.
Apple TV+ has made a name for itself for producing high calibre content with some of the biggest names in the industry, both in front of and behind the camera. Among the Hollywood stars to have worked with the brand are Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Tom Hanks, Gary Oldman, Austin Butler, Jennifer Aniston, Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, Ben Stiller and Kurt Russell, reports the Mirror.
Apple TV+ is enjoying a stellar start to the year, with the second season of Severance smashing viewership records. The genre-blending dystopian sci-fi workplace comedy thriller – produced by Ben Stiller and starring Adam Scott – surpassed Ted Lasso to become the platform’s most-watched series ever.
Seth Rogen’s Hollywood satire, The Studio – in which he stars as a newly appointed movie studio head – premiered in March and has earned an impressive 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Currently topping Apple’s TV chart is Your Friends and Neighbors, a comedy crime-drama featuring Jon Hamm as a hedge fund manager who turns to burglary after losing his job.
Apple also has plenty in store for viewers, with the announcement that Ted Lasso will be back for a fourth season, with Jason Sudeikis reprising his role. The streaming service has also released its summer 2025 preview, showcasing returning favourites such as Slow Horses and The Morning Show.
However, despite recent releases like The Gorge and Blitz, some viewers might feel that Apple TV+ doesn’t offer as wide a range of films as its competitors. While its TV library can compete with Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video, those seeking the latest Hollywood blockbusters or timeless classics may be left wanting. But for top-notch TV shows, an Apple TV+ subscription is now available at £2.99 per month for three months until April 24.
