AlixPartners names Chris Lowe as head of capital advisory

Chris Lowe has joined AlixPartners from EY, to lead the firm’s capital advisory team. The former Big Four partner will now work to help AlixPartners’ clients realise growth and optimise their capital structures.

Nick Wood, head of corporate finance and capital advisory at AlixPartners, commented, “We are thrilled to welcome Chris to the firm. The scale of his network, successful track record in delivering financing solutions for clients and building teams will be pivotal in accelerating the growth of our capital advisory business. Chris’s expertise in capital advisory will be invaluable to new and existing clients, given the increased appetite for expansion and development opportunities that we’re seeing amongst businesses.”

Wielding more than 29 years of experience in industry, advisory and consulting roles, Lowe boasts skills across private loan, public loan and capital markets. Prior to his role at EY, he also held banking positions at Citi and HSBC, having started his career at BAE Systems where he trained as an accountant.

The arrival boosts AlixPartners’ expanding corporate finance and capital advisory team, following the arrival of five additional new hires in 2025 to support its growth. Looking ahead, Lowe will head up its capital advisory efforts, leveraging in-depth knowledge of debt markets and extensive relationships across the international lender community to deliver advice to support clients with all aspects of debt financing.

Wood added, “As we continue to scale our corporate finance and capital advisory business, our ability to provide a seamless, integrated offering of M&A and capital advisory and performance improvement with deep sector insight is a real differentiator, which delivers significant value to our clients.”
