Alaska Airlines requests FAA for ground stop of all mainline aircraft, reason unclear | World News

A major American air passenger carrier, Alaska Airlines, has requested for a ground stop for all its mainline aircraft, the US aviation watchdog Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) status page said on Sunday, Reuters reported.

The reason for the request to ground stop all mainline aircraft made by the Alaska Airlines was not immediately clear.

Alaska Airlines and FAA have not responded when asked for a comment surrounding the ground stop of all mainline aircrafts, Reuters reported.

The status page of FAA showed that all destinations being impacted by the ground stop of Alaska’s mainline aircrafts.
