This AirPods Max 2 concept has been designed by Felix Schwamkrug as an audio accessory that offers a glimpse into what we could see being developed by Apple as the next-gen version of its signature over-ear headphones. The headphones build on the design of the original, but with a decided shift towards greater durability and cushioning to maximize their ability to withstand the rough and tumble of everyday life. The headphones also feature a dedicated Apple Intelligence button that will enable listeners to take direct advantage of the brand’s signature artificial intelligence (AI)-powered features.
The AirPods Max 2 concept imagines the headset would keep the same 40mm drivers of the original with the neodymium ring magnet motor, while also featuring the new H2 chip for handling on-device assistant requests.
