Abhishek Bachchan Gives His Parents the Status of…
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, the All I Want to Talk star opened up about his family. When asked if he is deeply religious, Abhishek admitted that he doesn’t consider himself overly religious. However, he mentioned that before approaching God, he first turns to his parents. “I don’t know if I am overtly religious. I have my equation with God, but before I go to God, I go to my parents. I think they should be the first people you lean on. To me, they are equivalent to God. I’m what I am because of my family. I am a very family-oriented person. Everything I do, I do for my family, and they are my go-to people.” He further said, “As long as you can go home to a loving, supportive, healthy, and happy family, I think you’re good. My family’s opinion matters the most to me.”
Talking about his daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, Abhishek expressed his hope that she and future generations will understand the importance of family and respect the legacy of the Bachchan family. “I think I should work towards leaving something tangible for my daughter, apart from creativity. That’s why I look at the work I do beyond acting as an endeavour to achieve that, whether it’s through sports or other businesses that I get involved in,” said the actor. He also took a moment to remember his late grandfather, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and expressed his gratitude for him.
