UFC star Paddy The Baddy Pimblett supported after special personal update

The MMA star issued a grateful update as he marked the occasion

Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett thanked fans as he marked a special personal update. The MMA star, who remains undefeated since he joined UFC, regularly shares updates from his happy family life away from the Octagon on Instagram.

He took to the social media platform to issue a grateful update after he celebrated his 30th birthday yesterday. The MMA star has travelled to Mexico to mark the occasion and shared a short clip from the side of the pool with his 3.3m followers as he said: “Thank you everyone for all the birthday messages.

“Really appreciate every single one of them. Sorry I couldn’t message everyone back. I just got that many of them that I couldn’t message you all back so thank you very much everyone. Love you all.”

The Baddy also reshared a post from Cage Warriors who shared a snap of the Huyton-born fighter at the start of his career. It said: “Throwback to a Teenage ‘Paddy The Baddy’. He Turns to 30 Today!”

Paddy was joined on the trip to Central America by his wife, Laura, who shared a heartfelt tribute to mark the occasion. She said: “Happy 30th Birthday @theufcbaddy we love you.”

Paddy and Laura are the proud parents of twins, Margot and Betsy, who they welcomed into the world last year. Paddy refelcted on his incredible 2024 in an emotional post earlier this week as he said: “What a year 2024 was I got the 2 greatest gifts anybody in this world could ask for my 2 little angels the most precious things on this earth to me.

“Won a little fight aswell and had some of the best experiences of my life so far. onto an even bigger and better 2025.” Followers took to the comments to congratulate Paddy after a year that will live long in the memory.

Paddy spoke to the ECHO alongside Molly McCann ahead of the release of their BBC documentary, Show No Mersey. The fighter has never forgotten his Merseyside roots on his road to success and said he credits his upbringing with where he is now.

He said: “I always say I wouldn’t be where I am without this city. It’s as simple as that. It’s made me. I always say I’d never leave here, I don’t think I ever could or ever will pick up and leave here. I want my kids to be Scousers.”
