Gold deposits are often found world over. Of late, China has discovered a big gold reserve. It is considered as the world’s largest gold reserve. The gold reserve has been found in Pingjian County which is located in the northeastern region of the province.

The South Deep Mine has 930 metric tonnes of Gold. In Indian currency, China has found more than Rs Seven lakh crore.
The ore-prospecting experts recognised 40 gold veins within a depth of 2 kilometers. As per preliminary revelations, the reserve may have 300 metric tons of gold. As per Advanced 3-D modelling, it suggests that the deposit may have additional reserve to a greater depth, potentially reaching 3 kilometres.
