SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for candidates who want to apply for junior associate posts in the bank’s customer support and sales section. This clerical post has a vacancy of 13735.
Interested candidates can visit the official website – sbi.co.in. The application for the posts has already begun and the deadline is January 7. Candidates should not be below 20 years of age and above 28 years.
The prelims examination of the State Bank of India clerk post will be tentatively done in February and the mains examination between March and April. SC/ST/PWD/XS will have to give Rs 100 as application fee and general and OBC Rs 600.
SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: Eligibility
— Candidates should have completed their graduation by regular or distance mode in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
— Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before the date of eligibility stipulated by the Bank.
— For matriculate ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army special certificate of education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.
The candidates need to know that certificates should be dated on or before the date of eligibility and each aspirant should be able to write and speak English.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024: Selection procedure
The selection process comprises online tests — preliminary and main exam. Prelims will consist of English language, quantitative, and reasoning abilities. The duration will be one hour with 100 marks.
The main examination will consist of general and financial awareness, English, quantitative, reasoning abilities and computer aptitude.
Candidates qualified in the test will be in descending order in respective categories. Depending upon the number of vacancies only a certain number of candidates from amongst those who qualify by ranking high enough in the merit will be called for interview in the ratio of a maximum 3 candidates for each vacancy, read the website.
