The Love Island final is just one day away, but one couple’s journey in the villa came to an end tonight after a brutal twist in the villa
As the Love Island final looms, the villa was ablaze with tension tonight following a dramatic twist that saw former Islanders return to choose one couple to go home.
The remaining contestants- Shakira and Harry, Toni and Cach, Yasmin and Jamie, Angel and Ty, and Meg and Dejon – were all hopinfg they would be safe with the final so soon.
But they were stunned when host Maya Jama made an unexpected entrance into the villa and announced that former islanders would decide their fate.

Maya revealed: “Last night Megan and Conor were dumped after receiving the least votes for most compatible couple.
“I’m now going to reveal the two other couples who received the fewest votes and are at risk of being dumped from the island.
“Today, one more couple will be dumped from the Love Island Villa. And that decision will be made by some very familiar faces.”
All the previously ousted Islanders then made a comeback to choose between sending Meg and Dejon or Angel and Ty home just hours before the final.
After much deliberation and a series of biting remarks from the returning Islanders, the decisive vote was cast, with Meg and Dejon tallying 10 votes against Angel and Ty’s 8.
Maya questioned Dejon’s authenticity in her final comments to the contestant, with Dejon admitting: “I wasn’t perfect,” before saying he and Meg will prove the doubters wrong.
The audience has been sceptical of Dejon’s motives, accusing him of “game playing” throughout the season.
Following tonight’s episode, fans had the same comment.
One viewer remarked: “Finally, Meg and Dejon are gone. They did not deserve the final,” while another succinctly put it: “Finally they fakes are out.”
Another fan wrote: “Finally, their relationship felt so forced with no connection at all.”
Meanwhile, another jubilant fan exclaimed: “WOOOOHOOO finally, long time coming.”
