‘MG Series Inverters’ are Sungrow’s latest residential energy storage solution, designed to give homeowners more control, reliability, and independence in powering their homes. Introduced at the 2025 Southeast Asia Distribution Summit, the MG Series supports power outputs from 5 kW to 10 kW, making it suitable for a wide range of household needs.
Built for performance in extreme conditions, the system operates at full power even in temperatures up to 45°C. It also features “active PID (Potential-Induced Degradation) recovery and ultra-fast backup power switching in just 4 milliseconds—ensuring homes stay powered during outages or grid instability.”
The ‘MG5/6RL’ models are already available and work with over 50 third-party batteries. Meanwhile, the ‘MG8/10RL’ models and Sungrow’s new ‘MGL060’ battery will launch in late 2025, offering even more options for flexible, efficient, and future-ready home energy systems.
