Well, meet Jodie Comer, a British actress who has been named the world’s most beautiful woman, based on a recent ranking that features stars such as Zendaya, Bella Hadid, Ariana Grande, and Taylor Swift.
The ranking, published in 2023 by Dr. Julian De Silva, a renowned facial cosmetic surgeon from London, was determined using the Golden Ratio formula, a mathematical approach to measuring facial symmetry and aesthetic perfection. But what is golden ratio? How do we measure it? Read here..
To determine the golden ratio, experts measure the length and width of the face, dividing the length by the width. An ideal result is approximately 1.62. In addition to these measurements, distances between facial features are also evaluated, such as from the hairline to the eyes, the space between the eyes, and from the bottom of the nose to the chin. The closer these ratios are to 1.62, the higher the score in relation to the golden ratio.
As per the Economic Times, British actress Jodie Comer, renowned for her roles in Killing Eve and The Bikeriders, secured the top spot with a golden ratio score of 94.52 percent. The method of using the golden ratio to assess physical perfection dates back to ancient Greece. The concept is that the closer a face aligns with the number 1.618, known as Phi, the more attractive it appears.
