Diljit Dosanjh’s youngest fan has gone viral after she was trying to watch his Delhi concert ‘Dil-luminati’ from her house’s balcony. The day one of the Delhi tour was in JLN Stadium in Delhi and the girl lived a few killometers away, could see lights from her house. The little fan’s excitement captured Diljit’s attention, who said, “Diljit uncle thoda tez chila do (Diljit uncle shout more loudly)!” Diljit, in no time, liked the post shared by her father Kunal Sharma and re-shared on his Instagram Stories writing, “Beta come I have tickets for you and your family (folded hands emoticon).”
What happened next will make you fall in love with the Chamkila actor. Diljit’s team reached out to them and arranged tickets. Yes, you read that right! Imagine, a person manifesting to attend the concert, gets free tickets from the star himself. The little girl and her family received a sweet surprise from Diljit when he provided her and her family free access to fan pit, leading them to enjoy the show up close.
At the concert, Diljit Dosanjh, dressed in an all-black outfit, complete with a black turban and sunglasses, waved the national flag at the start of the performance. He then gave a salute in front of the flag, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
Addressing his fans, Dosanjh, 40, said, “O, ki haal Dilli walo? Delhi, we had a full house, sold out. We got permission only for this much, otherwise, we would have done it for three days in a row with a stage at the centre. Thank you guys, appreciate”. The crowd responded with a massive roar.
The Delhi shows mark the beginning of a 10-city tour for Dil-luminati Tour, which will take him across Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, and more, before concluding with a grand finale in Guwahati on December 29.
