The funeral details of ‘kind and caring’ Jack Walker have now been confirmed
The funeral details of a much-loved fisherman who died following an incident off the Pembrokeshire coast have been confirmed. Jack Walker, 35, of Manorbier, was pulled from the water approximately a mile off the coast of Milford Haven on the afternoon of Thursday, May 1.
The “devoted” dad-of-two tragically did not survive. In a tribute released after his death, Jack’s family said he had died doing what he loved most.

In a tribute, Jack’s family described him as “a kind, caring, and loving son, grandson, dad, brother, uncle, and brother-in-law” and said he died doing the thing he loved most.
They said: “We are completely heartbroken at losing our kind, caring, and loving son, grandson, dad, brother, uncle, and brother-in-law.
“A great friend to all. Jack tragically left us doing what he loved most.
“Our thoughts and heartfelt wishes go out to his crew mates that day. We would like to thank everyone for their support.”
His funeral will take place on Friday, May 23, at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, followed by refreshments at the Royal British Legion Club, Milford Haven.
A spokesperson for Tom Newing funeral directors said: “Jack was a devoted dad to Cindy and Violet, dearly loved son of Joanne, much loved brother of Lydia, Roxy, Holly, Kenzo and Storm, cherished grandson to Yvonne, treasured uncle of Harvey, Ezmae and Kody and dear brother-in-law to Josh and Jay.
“Jack will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his extended family and many friends.
“Jack’s funeral service will take place on Friday, May 23, at 11am at Parc Gwyn Crematorium in Narberth.
“Attendees do not need to wear black, and fishermen are asked to come wearing their yellow wellingtons.
“We would like to thank everyone for their support.”
