It swoops down extremely low before attempting to make a landing on the road.

But as it touches down, the plane smashes on impact and becomes engulfed in flames.

In the dramatic video a woman can be heard screaming “get them now” and “move”.

Miraculously, the Bristell NG5 pilot and co-pilot managed to escape with their lives.

They were later treated for minor burns.

A local, who lives beside the holiday park, said she felt “lucky” to still be here.

She told how just 20 minutes prior to the crash she had be sunbathing in her garden.

The plane smashed one of her chimneys and left two holes in her roof.

As reported by the Isle of Wight County Press, the pilot later apologised to the resident and explained how his engine had failed, possibly after hitting a bird.

“What a lovely man, to be worried about the damage to the house, when he was so lucky to be alive,“ she said.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said crews found the aircraft “had suffered extensive damage from the impact and subsequent fire”.

It said: “All occupants had safely exited the aircraft before emergency services arrived.

“Two individuals sustained minor injuries and were treated by paramedics at the scene.

“Firefighters used a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.”

An air ambulance was called to the scene but no patients were taken to hospital, Isle of Wight NHS Trust confirmed.

Hampshire police said the holiday park remained open and no roads had been closed.
