Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday said Iran was “fully prepared for a war situation … but we do not want war, we want peace”. He was speaking in Baghdad, where he arrived on Sunday for talks with Iraqi officials ahead of an anticipated Israeli attack in response to Iran’s October 1 missile barrage targeting Israel.
