A woman has revealed her top wellness secret to help ensure a glowing complexion at 60.

Vicky DeRosa, 60, from Los Angeles took to TikTok to explain how gua shua and face oil has helped her prevent sagging skin.

The influencer and founder of her eponymous beauty brand said she doesn’t travel anywhere without her gua shua tool.

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese healing method in which a smooth-edged tool is used to gently scrape areas of the skin to improve circulation.

The practice may help relieve tension in the face, reduce puffiness and inflammation, and reduce sinus pressure, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

‘I turned 60 a couple of days ago and these are the three things that I refuse to live without,’ Vicky said.

‘For those of you who have been following me for a while, you know that I travel a lot, and the gua shua is something that is always in my bag.’

She told her viewers that the facial tool and her products, eternal gold eye serum, and eternal glow face love, are the three things she will never leave the house without.

Vicky then explained the best method to ensure the gua shua is effective, with the key focus being on opening the lymphatic drainage system.

‘Let’s talk about gua shua because I think this may even be the first time that I’ve done a video on gua shua,’ she said.

The influencer continued: ‘Now, make sure your hair is back, make sure that your hands are clean… and make sure that your gua shua is clean.’

‘Here’s how you start, you want to open up your left node, so you take two fingers, and you start like this,’ she said while massaging her cheek bones with her index and middle fingers.

She continued: ‘First you start by your ears… so this is why your hair needs to be back, pull it up, put it back, whatever you need to do.

‘You do this 10 times. Then, you go in by your nose with these with fingers and you press ten times.’

‘Then you go by your collar bone and rub ten times. Again, you’re just opening your lymph nodes, and then, lastly… press under the arms.

‘Now, once that is done, you take really good quality face oil, you cannot gua shua without using a good oil.

After applying face oil, Vicky told her followers to glide the tool across the jaw while applying a light pressure.

‘If you feel any bumpiness, it’s tension, so you just work it through,’ the influencer said.

Vicky then did the same on the other side of her jaw before adding eternal gold eye serum and rubbing the tool across her under eyes ten times.

After using the gua shua across her cheekbones to ‘release fluid’, Vicky rubbed in between her eyebrows to avoid lines – a trait she refers to as ‘the elevens’.

‘I’m always concerned about getting the elevens. A lot of people say I don’t have the elevens because it’s not in my genes, but listen, my mother had the elevens, everyone in my family has the elevens, so I truly think it has a lot to do with the facial and the massage that I do’.

She concluded: ‘And that’s it. Travel with a really good face oil, do this and make sure you don’t forget to open up your lymphatic system first.

It comes after a woman has revealed the skincare tool that transformed the shape of her face with incredible results in just five minutes a day.

Laura Galebe, an influencer in New York City, has more than 331,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares beauty and manifesting tips.

The content creator caused a storm after demonstrating her daily gua sha routine, saying repeated use of the massage tool helped her slim down and sculpt her face.

‘When it comes to gua sha, consistency is KEY!’ she wrote in the caption. ‘It takes about one week to see initial differences, and I saw most of the difference from six months to one year of consistent use.’

Galebe explained in her video that she had been doing gua sha for over a year while sharing photos of her face before and after she started the practice.

Her face is noticeably rounder and puffier in the first snapshot compared to her chiseled appearance in the second, more recent picture.

‘I’m the same weight in both pictures, the only difference is that I have less inflammation and less water retention in my face,’ she noted.
