What Nikki Glaser REALLY thought of Adam Sandler using her joke at the Oscars

Comedian Nikki Glaser has revealed what she really thought about Adam Sandler using one of her recent jokes at the Oscars this year – and her feelings on the matter.

While hosting the Golden Globes in February, Glaser made a joke about Timothee Chalamet, telling the audience that his name sounded like something that Sandler would say.

She then jokingly pronounced his name in a very Sandler-like voice, which the actor appeared to find funny – and it was something brought up again on Sunday during Conan O’Brien’s hosting stint at the Oscars.

Sandler participated in a skit with O’Brien, as he was clad in a bright blue Aviator Nation hoodie and his signature basketball shorts.

As the comedian jokingly called out Sandler for his outfit, it turned into a fake fight, causing him to get up and leave – but not without stopping by Chalamet’s seat first to make Glaser’s joke.

Sandler appeared by the A Complete Unknown actor’s side, gave him a hug and kiss, and said ‘Chalamet,’ the exact same way that Glaser had pronounced it before leaving the ceremony.

And, according to Glaser, it was a moment that was one of her favorites of the night.

‘I really loved when he was talking to Adam Sandler and then Adam Sandler ran up to Timothée Chalamet and goes, “Chalameeeeet,”‘ Glaser told Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos during their After the Oscars Show on Monday, per Entertainment Weekly.

‘That was the joke I made at the Golden Globes! So I saw like, a callback to my joke and I was watching it, like, [gasp]. It was so awesome,’ she continued.

Unfortunately, Chalamet did not take home the Academy Award for Best Actor, instead losing to Adrien Brody for his role in The Brutalist.

Chalamet was nominated for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.

But from one awards show host to another, Glaser admitted that she was a fan of O’Brien’s performance on Sunday night at The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

‘Last night, Conan… A+,’ she told Ripa and Consuelos, per the outlet.

‘We know he’s funny. We know he’s going to kill. We knew we were in good hands, but there was a silliness to it, with the Sand Worm playing the harp. There was wild stuff happening,’ the Tom Brady Roast host added.

Her success this awards season comes as she admitted that she had to push back a cosmetic procedure in order to host this year’s Golden Globes.

‘For January 2025, I was going to possibly have, like, a brow lift or some kind of, like, really invasive surgery that I’ve been, you know, looking into getting,’ she told CBS in December.

However, it appeared well worth it, as her monologue made a splash with shocking jokes about about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

‘Some of you may know me as a stand up comedian, and from my appearances on roasts. But I’m not here to roast you,’ she said.

‘I want you to know that. How could I, really? You’re also famous, so talented, so powerful. You can really do anything, except tell the country who to vote for, but it’s okay.’
