It’s looking like voters should be ready for discomfort en route to the polls Thursday as the forecast is for a little snow and a bit of wind for the day.
Winds gusting to 15km/h are expected to make the Capital temperature feel like -9 before climbing to a high of about 1 C through the day.
Snow is expected to kick off in the morning with five cm of new snow that we didn’t really need.
The wind is expected to spool up from 20 km/h late in the afternoon, gusting to 50 km/h later in the evening.
Be careful and bundle up. That sort of wind could make overnight low temps of -13 C feel like -50.
Friday is expected to begin sunny but chilly in the morning. Light snow is possible overnight.
And March should come in like a lion, as they say, with a high of -6 C under cloudy skies and a 30 per cent chance of flurries.
