The barmaid hasn’t found out the paternity of her unborn child after Daniel Osbourne and Kit Green were in the frame to be the dad
Coronation Street fans think the soap has revealed the father of Daisy Midgeley’s baby and think a huge ‘twin’ twist will soon be on the way.
As fans of the ITV soap know, there was a surprise for Daisy – and viewers – on Christmas Day as she was seen glancing down at a positive pregnancy test while sitting on the stairs in the back of the pub, where she lives with her former step-mum and pub co-owner Jenny Connor.
The problem was, however, is that she doesn’t know who the dad is having started seeing DC Kit Green amidst having a one-night-stand with her former fiancé Daniel Osbourne. Both men have since found out she’s pregnant with the wider Weatherfield community also in the know after the mum-to-be announced the news to a busy Rovers.
Daisy later decided to get a DNA test, but after receiving the results last month, she has been keeping them a secret from everyone. She told Jenny that it was irrelevant who the father is before Daisy deleted the email, insisting the result will remain unknown.
During Wednesday night’s (February 19) trip to Weatherfield, it was Jenny who seemingly confirmed the paternity of Daisy’s unborn child. Amid reunion hopes for Daisy and Daniel, she assumed that he was the father.
She told Daniel that Diasy was worried about him only wanting to get back with her because of the baby, leaving him confused. He asked her: “Do you know something? Jenny, is the baby mine?” She then leaned in and said: “You didn’t hear it from me,” before they exchanged telling smiles.
But Corrie fans think this will mean that Kit will turn out to the father and with Daisy’s 12-week scan ahead, some thing she could get a shock of expecting twins.

As fans know, Daisy will soon be waving goodbye to Weatherfield after actress Charlotte Jordane confirmed she was bowing out of the ITV soap after four years. Former Netflix star Charlotte confirmed the news in January and said in a statement at the time: “My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish.
“After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities. It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much.”
