A 9-year-old child was killed and another person was hospitalized after being struck by a suspected DUI driver in L.A.’s Koreatown neighborhood Thursday night.
Los Angeles police responded to the incident on the 350 block of South New Hampshire Avenue around 7:30 p.m.
The two victims were walking on the street when they were hit by the suspect, who was driving an RV, police said.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities. The second victim, a 19-year-old, was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
