The Delhi Police apprehended three minors for allegedly stabbing a 23-year-old man to death in the Madangir area Tuesday evening over a personal dispute.
Ankit Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Delhi), said they received an alert about the incident around 5 pm. Chauhan said when a police team reached the spot, it learnt that the victim, Mukul, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased had a history of criminal activities, with four cases registered against him.
“He allegedly had addiction problems and often quarrelled with his neighbours… He had an altercation with the three minors, one of who is his neighbour, and the matter escalated into a fatal confrontation,” a senior police officer said.
The police said they are conducting further investigations.
