A total of 11 officers and personnel from Gujarat Police will be awarded with Police Medals on Republic Day 2025, said a police statement.
Two officers will receive the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM). One is ADGP Brajesh Kumar Jha, who is currently posted as CP of Rajkot City. The other is Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Digvijaysinh Patubha Chudasama, posted in the Police Bhavan.
According to the statement, nine officers and personnel will receive the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM). DGP Vikas Sahay on Saturday congratulated the officers. Taking to X, Sahay in a post said, “On behalf of the entire Gujarat Police parivar (family), I heartily congratulate all officers for this very prestigious award. Best wishes to all their family members also. Jai Hind”.
