► EURENCO doubles production capacity at its Clermont (Belgium) site

Engis, Belgium, July 4, 2025EURENCO, European leader in energetic materials and a key industrial player in the European defense sector, announces the laying of the foundation stone for the project to increase small-caliber propellant production capacity at its Clermont site (Belgium).

This event, organized in the presence of Mr Pierre-Yves JEHOLET, Vice-President of the Walloon Government and Minister for the Economy, Industry, the Digital Economy, Employment and Training, marks a new stage in the development of the EURENCO Group, engaged in an unprecedented industrial effort to meet the growing demand of the defense sector.

EURENCO, which currently has the largest installed manufacturing capacity for small-calibre propellants in Europe, will double its production volume in less than a year. All of this future capacity has already been reserved by EURENCO’s customers until 2032. In addition, the investments made will improve the environmental performance of the Clermont site, both in terms of water consumption and discharges, as well as its carbon footprint e.

This increase in capacity will also be accompanied by the hiring of almost 100 additional people, most of whom are already undergoing training on the current production lines.
